Meet Alisa & Georgia
Most preparation for a baby stops at birth. Cradle exists for what comes after.
Alisa, a Registered Midwife, and Georgia, a Registered Nurse/Midwife, bonded over a shared passion for helping new families thrive in the early postpartum days, not just get through them. Between them, they've sat with thousands of families in the days after birth, seeing the same pattern over and over; so much preparation for labour & birth, so little for what comes next.
Our Approach
Hospitals do their best to prepare families before discharge. But there's only so much anyone can absorb in those first few days, holding a newborn, running on no sleep. Alisa and Georgia wanted to change what happens after that moment - not by teaching families everything before they leave - but by coming home with them, so they can learn as they go, with someone by their side.
That's the whole idea behind Cradle. Knowing this support is already arranged means families can spend their time in hospital recovering and bonding as a family, instead of trying to process the information overload.
Georgia and Alisa work as a team. You'll meet and build a relationship with both of them, so care never depends on one person's schedule - it's simply always there.
Cradle is the kind of care they wish every family had access to - a soft place to land, without having to leave home.
They're glad you're here.
